I have a BC785 that has a discriminator tap. If someone wanted to borrow it while doing research on this, I will loan it out. I haven't used it in a while, so it's available. Send me a PM or call/text if you have my number.

Right, but you still need to connect the soundcard input to an unfiltered audio (baseband) tap from a scanner.

Worked for me. Used plug from external speaker jack to soundcard input on my laptop.
