I have figured how to unlock a channel and then get it back on if you powerup again. Can you unlock without shutting the scanner off?

The lockout where it unlocks upon power cycling is a temp lockout. If you hit function then lockout a channel it'll permanently lock it out until you tell it not to. If you'll hit hold then scroll to the channel you want you can unlock it. That link explains it way better than I can. Hope it helps you out.

Hold on the channel or TG you want unlocked, press "E" now scroll to menu that has L/O and press "E" and choose un-L/O or L/O press "E"....
