Heres some things that didnt get resolved with my radio(dont want to quote everyone's) after the firmware update:
1.Muddy audio on phase 2 systems with dropouts for no reason
NJPSIC 700MHZ system West Orange Simulcast (could use a low pass filter setting like the 996xt)
2.Muddy,muffly audio on some phase 1 systems
Montclair,NJ PD trunking system
3.Searches go from searching to stop,searching to stop,noticed this also
on my 996XT after a firmware update,so search is not fluent like it should be.
noticedm more usiing 12.5 and 6.25Khz stepping.
4.Noticed noise when turning the silver knob also it jumps when selecting things
and I have to go back to select something.
5.When you press a HOLD it sometimes misses and you miss action.
Also you cant scroll through things when you stop all three rows using HOLD like you
should be able to because the scanner kicks you out of the item(aka the highlight goes away)
