Sometimes you just gotta do some spring cleaning, and it seems that's what we're in the midst of now. The orphaned and uncategorized pages have been cleaned up, now we're down to the unused files area - there's over 3 dozen of these, listed here...
Unused files - The RadioReference Wiki
It should be stressed that it is not the admin's responsibility to attach a file to an article - like many other wiki editing functions, it's the user's. Keep in mind that creating a direct HTML-like link to a file does not remove it from the maintenance report. You must use one of the provided commands for this purpose. There are many commands the wiki has for importing and resolving pictures - and files such as PDF files can be hyperlinked using the Media command.
The MediaWiki website has a pretty good command description of using Image and other commands - if you don't understand how to bring something into your article, please yell and one of us can go through it. There are a few effects that you can also use to enhance your article, such as thumbnailing or using a gallery to show a progression of steps.
If you want a file to be dropped, a note to either Bezking or W9RXR will do the job.
Sometimes we have to be janitors...thanks for helping us keep the wiki clean and organized. Remember, it's YOUR database - so the more you do, the more you learn.
