from KZTL:

08/194 - AIRSPACE MIL ACT WI AN AREA DEFINED AS 12NM RADIUS OF
CLT110013 (5.6NM E 28A) SFC−3000FT AGL. 02 SEP 22:50 2023 UNTIL 02 SEP
23:59 2023. CREATED: 30 AUG 13:33 2023

So approx from 7pm til 8pm Sat eve there will be at least one military aircraft operating below 3,000 feet somewhere within a 12 mile radius of generally the center point of the following:

Considering the fact that a NOTAM was issued for such a mundane sounding reason, I can't help but wonder if things are about to get more complicated for the United Provinces of Atlantica forces.

If anyone catches anything feel free to post the info here. Thanks!

PS: I would at minimum monitor 143.200 AM during that time block.

Yep they typically hold around SE Charlotte and Matthews area before time to fly over stadium. There is a Shaw jet parked at Wilson Air today according to social media posts.

Cool deal, I guess that makes sense, "least" busy airspace in the area. Shaw jet like F-16 jet? and Wilson Air, do you mean FBO?

Just FYI, 293.000 active time now, presumably KRUQ H60s.

"GUARD 23904 entering the delta" on 126.275, so that confirms it.

Check out Plane Spotting CLT on Facebook. I live about 1.5 miles from CLT airport. The 4 F-16's passed right over my house on takeoff on the way to football game flyover. Wonderful earth shattering jet noise.
