I recently added the Porland ME Police trunk system to my 246T scanner.
I'm receiving 2 talkgroups that are some kind of maintenance channel and I would like to eliminate them from the scan list.
When I look at the Simulcast site group in Freescan those particular talkgroups are not in the list .
How is it that I'm receiving them if they are not listed in the talkgroups and how would I try to remove them.
Yes I know I can lock them out at the scanner but would like to remove them permanently

If you haven't programmed one or more talkgroups but are hearing them, you may be in "ID Search" mode (which I believe is the default for FreeScan):

You are most likely in "ID Search" mode.

Switch to "ID Scan" Mode.
