I'll follow it if it comes to Nebraska. Please tell me it will. I emailed the steam shop a week ago about if they are going to plan any more trips besides the frontier Cheyenne days and I received no reply.

they will have the challenger running to St Paul this september. I'm betting it has a stop in the omaha area and boone area

The most logical route is for it to come thru omaha

Not really. The last few times they sent it over the Blair Sub like they did with the UP 844.
okay now we are playing word games...

I first said omaha area... Blair, Fremont, Council Bluffs, Etc... are all the Omaha area to me.

I understand the difference between the short way and the long way... I run those tracks all the time. The blair sub and Omaha sub both meet at fremont and in Missouri Valley...

All I was pointing out is that it would probably be coming near you later this year...

jeeez...

I'll be going to see it going and coming back, even if that means taking off college and the jobs.

Republican National Convention - St. Paul, Minnesota
Locomotive No. 3985 will be on public display during the four-day convention. There are no excursions planned at this time. A detailed schedule will be available in July that will outline the route No. 3985 will take on its way to St. Paul and the route it will take returning to its home base in Cheyenne.
