Fire season for 2025 prediction will be above normal from April on. I am looking to put a list of scanner feeds that can provide Forestry Fire frequencies. If you need frequencies let me know I can help you. Frequencies suggestions are:
National forest near you
BLM fire
National Park fire crews near you
BIA fire crews near you
Fish and Game fire crews near you.
and State fire near you
followed by all the NIFC fire frequencies as far as tac and air support.
I will be covering Tonto NF, and state fire on this feed that will go live as soon as the Tonto NF fire lookouts go in service
going to be a big year up on the rim down to the southern boarder. Having live streams is found that when evacuations are needed people are listening to live feeds and are getting the information before the PD or the reverse 911 goes out. So if you can support live feed let me know and I can help you. All you need is a scanner and a pc, or laptop. Thomas.

At this point, fire season is year round based on nationwide data of wildfires in recent months.

Thanks for this. I hope it helps some people out. I’m an air tanker base manager up in N. AZ and it will definitely be a wild season.

"Fish and Game fire crews near you." I'm not aware of any Fish and Game/Wildlife agencies that have any wildland fire crews. If you know of a state that does, please advise.

He's probably referring to the US Fish and Wildlife Service, which has wildland firefighters, and there are USFWS refuges in Arizona.

Some people will mix and match fish & game, game & fish, fish & wildlife, and whatever other names that similar departments are called across the country.

It is my wish that people be more precise with the names of agencies and don't lump them as you wrote. One cannot listen properly if they don't know who they are listening to. A similar lumping occurs when people use the term "forestry." You can't tell is they are talking about the U.S. Forest Service or a state level agency such as the state name, followed by the word forestry, followed by the word department. Some don't even account for the levels of government, federal, state, county or city. That's real sloppy.

Thanks for your thoughts on this as it helps understand what he posted.
