Upcoming Presidential Visit

I've got quite the unique streaming opportunity coming up as the POTUS himself will be approx 5 miles away from my house when he speaks at Dobson High School Wednesday afternoon. Obviously I'm in prime location to stream the related public safety comms. But I'm a bit at a loss as to what to stream, as much of the "good stuff" will be encrypted.

Any suggestions? DPS usually handles motorcade duties, so I'll be adding Metro Central and Metro East to the mix, and the PRWN H deck talkgroups should also be good listening. Beyond that though, I'm unsure.

Any suggestions please add them to this thread - I'll be checking back periodically throughout the day and will be getting everything loaded and streaming on my ScanAmerica feed starting tonight.

I've logged a few new TG's that I don't see in the database(not sure what deck or channel they are though) they are 3223, 3227, 3224, 2602. Obviously the federal freqs, I don't know if you downloaded N2HUC's win500 file with federal VHF and UHF search frequencies. It takes up close to all the objects but would work good if you had an extra digital scanner sitting around.

Thanks Astrak, I'll add those ID's and see what comes up on 'em. As for the win500 file, I'm running an old school BC796 for the feed so I'm not sure if I'll be able to even open that file - is there a way to export the good stuff to plain text and post it here? If so then I'll give them a try and see what pops up but I'm pretty sure they'll almost all be encrypted. Besides, I'm thinking with the DPS, PRWN/RWC and the local news freq's going that'll be more than plenty to attempt to stream on the feed. No sense in tying it up with a bunch of noise from all the encrypted channels.

It probably be pointless to try to post them it's about 900 "objects" so it would take up quite a bit of space on this page and I don't know how that would work with a 796. I'll load the V-folder when the Pres gets here and see if I pick anything up. If I do I'll post a thread.

Well he's on his way. If my remote control (aka Mrs. Scanner) is functioning correctly, my chandler feed should be switching over soon to USSS and DPS.

Yeah. I really need to add more USSS stuff tonight. I just grabbed a handful of ones I thought might go active but sounds like nada.

I will be searching the VHF and UHF federal bands tonight with a second digital scanner and see what I can pick up. Tomorrow things should REALLY light up because Dobson highschool is only a couple of miles from my house and I'll be home and actively manning the scanner. Hopefully I'll be able to snag some good stuff.

Yeah same here, I only have what was in the AZ database in the scanner so I quickly threw in some USSS freqs I found in the Wiki and nothing on them, just DPS central. Did catch airforce one calling Phoenix traffic control though.

OK, added a ton more USSS frequencies I found online, maybe we'll get lucky and they'll be in the clear here and there. I also put Mesa PD in the mix since I'm sure there will be some related radio traffic on their system also. I also added the UHF ATC freqs for Sky Harbor in the off chance we might catch some air force 1 comms on his way out of town. All in all it should be a good day for scanning over here tomorrow.

At any rate, I've resumed normal scanning on the feed.
