I downloaded many sites for the NC viper system with wildcards only for each site. Then, I started saving wildcard hits to build a listing of all of the local received talkgroups.
The Viper systems contains well over 2000 talkgroups with many that are not relevant to my local area. My PSR-500's memory cannot possibly hold all of the required sites and necessary duplicate talk groups. Picking through the Radio Reference database to sort and identify my local receivable talkgroups for download can be quite tedious. So my question is:
I have all wildcard hits identified in the format "*ID xxxxxxx" where "xxxxxxx" is the talkgroup number ID. How can I selectively download updates to tag just these groups?
I currently use PSREdit but it is kind of an all selected or nothing deal. Download csv files and manipulate and update with these? Suggestions?
