Update now sds200 dont work

Hi all I did the update now it dose not owrk it looks like its scanning but not stopping on any thing have the sds100 running no problem is there a setting im missing??

ok checked radio it seem update did not work so I tryed again and got error. firmware checksum failure on SD card, so should i format the card and can i do that thru sentineil

firmware checksum failure is Not Good™.

Format the card, replace if it continues to give you issues.

Duplicate (clone) the SD Card in the good scanner and see if that works…

No. I do t believe you can brick the scanner in that manner. Try the full update again… or do that clone thing I mentioned. If the SD Card works in the SDS100 it should work in the SDS200. Try taking the card out of the good scanner and using it in the errant scanner.

Do not turn unplug the scanner when you see Firmware Update Complete. The CPU update comes next, then the Favorite Lists are downloaded then unplug.

Go to Scanner...Clear User Data...check the box to Display all Drives, then repeat the update and don't unplug like I posted above.

Yes, if you are loading the full database, this will happen.

I had to send the unit in for repair they say the Checksum error is the main board, mine was still under warranty for the SDS200 so have to wait for repair or new one lets see what happens

Seems weird that the same problem effects to 100 and 200. Lets see if #JoeBearcat has an answer.

Why's that weird? Basically same radio, different form factors
