While working my local EMS gig last night I spoke to Kearny Fire Dispatch they have advised on the following.

The Kearny Emergnecy Service uses Kearny Fire 1 502.4676 DPL 023.

The Kearny EMS Repeater 460.275 PL 179.9 is out of service but
once in the while you will hear the Kearny EMS supervisors 901
and 902 on it.

The Kearny Fire Deoartment is using Kearny Fire 2 502.7625 DPL 025 full
time. they are no longer switching back to Kearny Fire 1 in the odd months
due to the problems with the EMS repeater on 275.

Is the problem with the 460.2750 MHz repeater is due to some sort of interaction between Fire 1 and EMS?

I think the repeater itself is very old, RCI has been to look at it numerous times and
the machine needs re-placement. Plus it doesn't help that the Town of Kearny gives
Zero or in 0 or no support to there Emergency Medical Service.

If the EMS service shut down tomorrow the powers to be would sign a contract with MONOC.
