Several years ago I posted our various installs including our daily driver 1995 Ford F150.

See original thread here: 1995 Ford F150

At that time the truck was equipped Motorola UHF business band with an NMO mount antenna on the left side of the hood, a Uniden scanner with a NMO mount antenna behind the cab, and a glass mount antenna for the phone. Years later I switched the scanner out for a CB, and added a Wilson Sleek cradle booster for the phone. The Sleek worked great with the glass mount antenna, but the CB was only good for monitoring due to the antenna directly behind the cab (as was expected when I installed it in place of the scanner antenna) I recently upgraded the Sleek to a wireless booster, unfortunately I couldn't get enough separation of the interior antenna from the glass mount and therefore oscillation occurred on all bands. According to the WeBoost manual, as long as the booster was improving the signal (and the phone app confirmed it was) it was perfectly safe to run it in that condition. I figured I could improve on performance by mounting antennas in the roof, and it had been something I'd wanted to do for years, it just hadn't been a priority. I already had the antennas and a quick trip to the electronics store scored new NMO mounts. Might have got by with the old ones, but no point in going to the effort only to replace with old cables. A couple hours in the shop later, and we had it done. The phone and UHF antennas are in the roof, and the CB antenna was moved to the left side of the hood where the UHF had been. I should have done it this way from the start, performance was greatly improved. I also recently upgraded the head unit to one with Bluetooth, so we now have the convenience of hands free calling like our newer vehicles.

That is an EXTREMELY clean F150 that is most likely INCREASING in value. It's apparent that you maintain your vehicles to the upmost standard. The install is clean and purposeful...but my goodness you have a gem there!

My other hobby is custom trucks...mainly 80's/90's. I'm a GM guy but damn that truck is a specimen.

Thank you! It's a fun little truck. It's equipped with all the "good stuff" including 351 and quad shocks and 4x4. It's our daily driver/shop truck and currently has 157k miles on it. We keep the '16 F350 dually in the building untill we need to pull the trailers. It's only got 13k miles.

Nice looking old school truck. I think these are some best looking trucks Ford ever made.

Still see them driving around my local area and some look very nice.

Ah, now that you've posted the F350 I think I remember you posting about it (or another Super Duty) in the past.

Yes, I've had 2 Super Duties, this 2016, and a 2009 SRW. I really liked the install in the 2009 the best, it had everything in a custom console. I still have the console, but it wouldn't work in the 2016 (might find another vehicle for it some day). I've also had a 2006 and 2008 F150. All of those installs are also on this site.

Thank you! and I agree. I really wasn't a FlareSide fan at first, but it grew on me. Several years ago I found this one on the lot and it was the right color. It was stock when I bought it, and I added the accessories. It's a fun truck that gets compliments every where it goes. I don't plan on letting it go anytime soon. I had a 1985 that the farm bought new, I wheeled it through college and finally retired it in 2004. This 1995 is one of the last of the OBS Fords, and I'd be hard pressed to find another without spending a fortune.
