Which agencies are lacking? Maybe that would help in the search process.

Since I don't live there I don't know what exactly is incorrect...but I have heard that some of Charlotte's patrol districts have been renamed over the last few months so any updated info would be appreciated...

Most appear to be correct..

I have looked at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Talkgroups listed and MOST of them appear to be correct.....There was a system wide reprogramming approximately a year ago when they added talkgroups for EMS --- Meck County Fire, Charlotte Fire, and RENAMED all of the CMPD talkgroups to coincide with the renaming of the police districts. It appears that all that information has been updated.

The only thing I noticed that needs to be updated is the EVENTS Channels 17 - 32 are not strictly for CMPD. CMPD has there own set of CMPD EVENT Channels that are Displayed on the Radios as CMPD 1,2,3,...,16. These channels are CMPD's very own EVENT channels (but are not used for regular patrol...I am not really sure that they are ever even used. I think that CMPD still assigns the EVENTS channels 1-32 that evryone has in their radios for special event coverage).

I will try and find the talkgroups for the "CMPD EVENT CHANNELS" and post them.

I agree that most are accurate. There may be a few groups that are not documented but the info in the RR database is pretty right-on in my book.

Marshall,

The talkgroup list looks pretty good.

I would suggest replacing with talkgroup descripters for the hospital patch TGs with something along the lines of the following, to better indicate the hospitals' names and location:

12656 317 CMC-MAIN EMS patch to Carolinas Med Ctr in Charlotte
12688 319 PRESBY-MAIN EMS patch to Presbyterian Hosp in Charlotte
12720 31b CMC-UNIV EMS patch to CMC Hosp in University area of Clt
12752 31d CMC-PINE EMS patch to CMC Hosp in Pineville
12784 31f CMC-MERCY EMS patch to Mercy Hospital in Charlotte
12816 321 PRESBY-MATT EMS patch to Presbyterian Hosp in Matthews
12848 323 PRESBY-HUNT EMS patch to Presbyterian Hosp in Huntersville
12880 325 LNRMC EMS patch to Lake Norman Reg Med Ctr in Mooresville
12912 327 GASTON-MEM EMS patch to Gaston Mem Hosp in Gastonia
12944 329 NE-MED EMS patch to Northeast Med Ctr in Concord
12976 32b UNION MEM EMS patch to Union Reg Med Ctr in Monroe
13008 32d PIEDMNT-MED EMS patch to Piedmont Med Ctr in Rock Hill

I would also suggest some re-wording to the CMPD dispatch TGs. Instead of using:

8464 211 Steele Creek (Alternate South Area Dispatch) OLD A-1
8496 213 Westover (Alternate West Area Dispatch) OLD A-2

I would change the descripter to indicate that the TGs are patched, rather than an "alternate" TG:

8464 211 Steele Creek dispatch (often patched with "South" dispatch)
8496 213 Westover dispatch (often patched with "West" dispatch)

There are 12 CMPD dispatch TG descripters that would have to be changed, if you agree with the format.

How about the conventional channel listing ?
