Some of you might remember my previous pictures with the wonderful pegboard console...well, thanks to some time and patience...here is the updated install...

Picture showing 4 of the speakers mounted in front of the console...

Now for the details!

The console is a Troy CC-MC-25 with the floor mount and brackets. AWESOME console..remove two seatbolts and put in your console! Easiest Ive ever done, and no rattles!

Radios from the top...

Motorola Spectra 900mhz with rotary control head on ham
Motorola X9000 Dual radio, VHF/UHF on 2m/70cm
Motorola X9000 Lowband on 6m and 10m, with Siren controls and PA
Motorola MCS2000 800mhz, monitoring County Type II Smartnet and State Conventional Trunking
Motorola Wildcard DEK, controls the packet radio power, and lighting
Radio Shack Pro-2055 Scanner, scans local counties *set to be replaced with a digital version*
Midland WeatherMax CB

Not shown, Motorola Maxar VHF on 144.390 mounted under rear seat for aprs

Also, you cant really see the Yaesu VX-8R in the mobile charger base at top front of console.

There is a BUSS 12 position fuse panel inside the console as a distribution block, the x9000 drawers are mounted to back of cab behind back seat, and the MCS2000, Siren control box, and Maxar are mounted under seat where jack toolbox used to be.

Took two evenings and most of yesterday to get it done, but I love it...Just needing a laptop mount for the Toughbook and its all done.

Questions or Comments....

Thanks

Looks awsome , Hope mine looks that good when Im done :)

My only worry would be sitting in my seat and keying up those mics, they just seem to be close to the seat where your leg would be.

The console is actually sitting a little bit to the passenger side so that it clears the 4x4 shifter. The bracket for the floor plate is longer on the drivers side. There is plenty of room between my knee and the ptt's. There is even enough room between the armrests and the mics.

The console was expensive, but to get room I needed, Troy was the only way. I think I paid $575 for it. That included the floor plate, mounting arms, and the faceplates.

Neither Jotto Desk or Havis Sheild make anything this tall and long, with out going totally custom!

Thanks for the comments!
