Updated library database for pro-107

When I am on the whistler download page, do I download just the Library_db files?

When I am on the whistler download page, do I download just the Library_db files? There are 5 or 6 other files for the ws1080. My iscan card has just been configured from the Radio Shack Iscan download page. Do I have to download the Whistler scanner driver too? or just the Library files from Whistler?

I can't find my Pro 107 Digital DB folder. Do I have to insert my iscan card in the reader to get that folder? Sorry, I am not too bright with this stuff.

Open file explorer, open the documents folder, look for the iScan folder, look for the DB folder

ok i have a question i notice a bin file in the DB folder and one in the new whistler with all the DB files do i replace it with the new BIN file from the 1080 ?

It is not useless if you can follow directions on how to manually update the library data and want to listen to analog only.


You can obtain an updated library using the Whistler Handheld PC app for the ws1080, then transfer the DB files to your non supported iscan pc app.

Download and install ezscan for the WS1080 From whistlergroup.com Then run a library update.
Then on your PC go to My Document > Whistler 1080 Digital > DB and copy the contents of this folder.
Replace the files in your Pro-107 Digital DB folder with the files copied from the Whistler 1080 digital DB folder. Launch your RadioShack Iscan pc app and you will have the latest Library.

Question, I installed ezscan for the ws1080 from whistle group but, where do I run the library update?

I am sorry < I'm at a lost after I lost the cards memory and can't transfer the ws1080 library to the iscan DB files..Is there any way you can give me a step for step procedure on how to get this iscan card updated to run the pro 107?Now I even have problems with the actual radio shack scanner playlist to set the scan card up. When I downloaded the ezscan library, where do I go to update the library..?

That's the same problem I am having. Do I open the bin or just right click the whole file? I am sorry, I am a little weak going through throat cancer.

It's NOT a bin file....it is a DB which is DATABASE.

As explained early, updates to the database are done through the iScan software on the Library Import tab, that is the only way, and then loaded into the scanner, once loaded into the scanner you can update through the scanner. There is no way to put the database into the scanner except through the iScan software.

ok i copied the db files from the downloaded file 1080 and replace them from the original pro107 db folder but it didnt work nothing happened period . but after installing the sd card into the computer i downloaded directly into the db folder onto the sd card deleting the origiginal files and it worked it appeared to when turning on scanner the library files seem to be updated but the iscan software still doesnt recognize the new db files ?

and yes theres db files and 1 bin file in the 1080 db file when unzipped and also in the db folder on computer and sd card

Can somebody point me to the latest database LIBRARY for the PRO-107? I also want to listen to Brevard and Volusia EDACS. I also would like the latest iSCAN Software Thanks In advance!
