Can somebody point me to the latest database LIBRARY for the PRO-107? I also want to listen to Brevard and Volusia EDACS. I also would like the latest iSCAN Software Thanks In advance!
From post 16 in this thread ....

You can obtain an updated library using the Whistler Handheld PC app for the ws1080, then transfer the DB files to your non supported iscan pc app.

Download and install ezscan for the WS1080 From whistlergroup.com Then run a library update.

Then on your PC go to My Document > Whistler 1080 Digital > DB and copy the contents of this folder.
Replace the files in your Pro-107 Digital DB folder with the files copied from the Whistler 1080 digital DB folder. Launch your RadioShack Iscan pc app and you will have the latest Library.

I notice that the Whistler site has a library zip file already in the same location as the ezscan. Files are RRDB_813.000 through RRDB_813.015 plus RRDB_VER.BIN Could I just use those without installing and running ezscan? The zip file contents are dated 2023-02-02 .

unsure about that, but I'm guessing so
OK I have updated my library and it appears the radio is intact. There were a lot of conventional channels from previous owner in the playlists 1-4 so I deleted those and left ones I previously had loaded.

On the trunked radio systems I have a screen in the IScan program showing the systems loaded, LTR, EDACS and one Motorola. There are no site frequencies loaded for these. Shouldn't that be pulled from the new library?

I did notice that the 800 Mutual Aid channels shown in the conventional had pre rebanding 866-868 MHz frequencies which I corrected manually.

Will Restore Factory Defaults clear the playlists and let me have a fresh start without clearing the database I have on the SD card? Or should I delete the playlists and use library import for my state?

Well I answered most of my own questions by starting fresh. The iScan user interface is pretty clunky. I have a lot of duplicated stuff. So far have not broken anything so I will soldier on.

I know I am a little bit late to this dance, but I just wanted to say I appreciate the info in this thread and I can confirm that it works flawlessly. Although I have a Pro-668 that I plan on sending in for the Legacy update, I have a Pro-107 that I just can't force myself to get rid of. It was my first Scanner with an included database. I haven't been able to update the library or anything for years of course and considered selling it because I have the 668 but then I came across this thread and gave it a shot and it literally took just a few minutes. I suggest saving the old data files into a separate folder somewhere just in case something goes amok, but the instructions were clear and it worked like a champ. I know I could do the same thing for my 668 but I think I'll just let them do it at the factory when I get the Legacy update. I will need DMR where we're moving to in a few months so it's worth the $70. Thanks again for everybody's knowledge on this particular thread. The 107 is a great scanner for those areas that are almost entirely conventional and non digital.

Hi all-
Just my 2 cents.... Pro-107 is a great oldie but goodie scanner. I love mine even though almost all PD's around me went D. I did the Whistler DB trick and it worked like an absolute champ! Great little trick to update the DB. Mine must have been 7-8 years old when I did the trick. BTW, I have a Pro-668 which is a great scanner. I recently did the Legacy Upgrade with Whistler. So worth the $60, great customer service and only a 10-day turnaround time from mailing out to receiving it. Good stuff.
