I've got the standard codes list posted on most of the radio sites, but I hear a lot of numbers thrown around back and forth that aren't listed, "18-X" for example where X is a variable, and some 3 digit numbers that are definitely not car numbers.

Any ideas or listings I'm not finding?

I'll post the numbers as I hear them on this thread and do my best to provide the context when I'm near the computer.

"Alright 10-4, 21-11 and you're clear"

"21-11" is a time check, given in the 24 hr format. Spoken as "2111", ie: 21:11 .

Just like '18-34', meaning 18:34..

There is no code "18-xxx", only a code '10-18' which is a request for meal period.

Hope this helps you.

The list posted is the list I mentioned that is on most radio sites such as w2lie.

It did however occur to me that some of the 3 digit codes could be VTL or Penal law codes, "License is 511" (Suspended). For example...
