I posted about this before but that thread is quite old and the information is out of date now, I have been running RDIO (basically an virtual scanner) which has a massive coverage area with up to 10,000 calls per day.
Included features are:
- AI generated transcripts for each call
- Archives to search through old calls
- Hold System / Hold TalkGroups
- A jump queue feature to always receive the latest calls
- A comprehensive database of Talk Group IDs which can be monitored directly
The source is a UBCD536-pt and several SDRs. The system is working great now and the connection details are below.
RDIO Connection Details:

This service is ad-free but be aware that if you use the dedicated IOS or Android apps you will be served ads by the app developer which is not me.
I recommend using your browser - whether it be on your desktop or mobile device. The RDIO instance has been optimised for mobile screens and desktop browsers. Although on very small displays you have to enter the password into the password box which can sometimes still be partially hidden.
