Nice collection of radio's.

Is this a collection or do you use these for scanning? (don't see any power cords or external antenna cable), Just wondering.

Nice shack just the same.

Antenna's

Just use the stock ones and a whole bunch of other telescopic and rubber ducks, can't mount any, don't own the building

I was really interested in the HTX-420 when it was about to be released but rarely saw them in stores.

How do you like yours?

I'll chime in, I picked up one on clearance for $80 and I rarely used it to TX. I used it to scan some and mainly kept it around in case I needed to talk to someone on 440 since it was my only UHF frequency-agile radio. I finally sold it to a retired guy near me who had one but wanted an extra so he would not have to relearn another HT.

It was ok, that's about it but did not seem to be bad either.

Htx-420

Thanks Grog!

One more thing, these radio's were pulled from the shelves because you could do a keypad routine to open the full uhf band trasmit. it's a great little radio, and really sturdy (all aluminum construction)
great on vhf aircraft receive
