Updates for BCD436HP, how to connect

I am a new owner of a BCD436HP. I am unable to set up the radio with my computer in order to get updates, or anything else the computer might show me. I am used to a PRO-668. Since I am not good at the scanner terminology, Can one of you give me a step-by-step instruction on how to connect the BCD436HP to the computer? I have read several articles on it, but I have been unsuccessful so far. Many thanks.

I presume that you have downloaded and installed the Sentinel software.

Problem solved. The problem was that I was using Firefox rather than Internet Explorer. It wouldn't work i Firefox. Thanks.
