I am located in West Central Florida and using 996P2 and SDS 200 Uniden Scanners. There have been several updates posted for my counties in the "Reports" section on RR listing changes such a talk group ID changed, etc. for agencies I am monitoring. My question... do these changes necessitate reprogramming my scanners? I am using the ARC XT Pro, ARC 536 Pro, and Sentinel software to program my units. Any information offered will be appreciated.

SDS200 Your FL are not automatically updated, so you manually have to fix those.

If you are just using your zip code (or a gps) and service types, you dont need to update anything other than download the HP DB to your scanner using Sentinel.

I know nothing about your other scanner.
