Hi,
I am Andrew I reside in Glendale, Az. I currently own a pro-91 and have had good use of it for a short while. As of recently I updated my freq. and trunked freq. which have gave me few if any good results. I have been looking into the Pro-95. I am on short budget for now and am curious will this upgrade do me any good with the new local updated systems that have happened here. All suggestions, reccomendations, facts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all in advance.

Glendale PD is 100% digital, and Phoenix is rapidly getting there (with most units already digital but some patches to VHF analog remaining). You would need one of the newest digital scanners to monitor either Glendale PD or Phoenix PD. You are limited to a Radio Shack Pro-96, or a Uniden BC296D or BC796D. Expect to pay around $500 for one of these. Glendale and Phoenix Fire, for now, are still on VHF. They will be going to 800 MHz digital, but not for a while longer.
