PSR-800: Upgrade to WS1080

I sent my PSR-800 to Whistler yesterday for the upgrade to WS1080.
Hope it's a worth while thing to do?

It is. I upgraded a PSR-800 and a Radio Shack PRO-668 and couldn't be happier.

Upgrade

I sent both a RS version and the GRE model. It brought the RS radio up to the same specs as the GRE/Whistler. Definitely a yes.

SD-card question after upgrade

My PSR-800 scanner is coming back from Whistler tomorrow with the WS1080 upgrade.
Can I put my micro sd-card back in the way it was left before I sent it in, or do I need to prepare it some way because of the upgrade?
