Upload attachment function not working

I have no problem posting messages, but when I try to upload an attachment, the upload window times out while waiting for a response from the RR server. I have tried multiple times with two different browsers.

How large is the attachment?

It's a 636KB pdf file, which is below the stated limit for pdf files.
