Upload Problem to Pro106

Good Evening-
Tonight I tried to make some changes to my Pro 106 via Win500 and the RS USB upload cable. When I wold hit the Upload To Scanner link, I kept getting an error message of "Unable to open port: Comm 9 does not exist".

I recently went from a Dell XPS desktop to a Dell XPS laptop. Would this be causing me problems? Do I need a driver or update to get the RS cable to work with my new computer?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to go to gre website and download the usb drivers for the program cable the look and find what port in control panel system ports to see what port the USB cable is using.

What (virtual) Com port is your cable showing up as? Win500 needs to be set to use that same port.

Much thanks guys! Up and running with no problems. Had to find the correct port. Duh!
