See this is the kind of post I don't understand. This type of post does nothing but enrage those who were mislead.

Of course a class action law suit could be started if Uniden doesn't deliver. You can't go around advertising a product with features that don't exist, selling a product with misleading labeling, deceptive descriptions in the manual, etc. etc at a higher price and not expect to get sued.


Uniden certainly isn't telling the prospective buyers that there is a problem.

If you are so sure then sue, stop complaining like the spoiled child and do something like an adult. Find a law firm tell them you (and thousands of others) have been misled. Tell them to recoup your perceived losses .

However, none of you will. It's much easier to complain about a minor inconvenience than to spend a decade in court.

Gentlemen, let's try and keep this thread somewhat civil. This is the Uniden Tavern but that doesn't give anybody the right to use foul language or insult other members.

Let's try and maybe see the bright side of this. At least it's a "dongle", so if Uniden can't get this existing one working, it can be swapped out for a working one someday.

It would be a much bigger issue if it was embedded and could not be changed/swapped.
