Then he should be banned from posting help ever again... Atleast

And you don’t bear any responsibility for hooking two scanners to a T? Lol

Good luck trying to get someone else to pay for your screw up.

And connecting the scanners together with a T isn't even a screw-up.

This reminds me of the YouTube video, showing people how to drill a hole in a brand new iPhone to add a 3.5mm audio jack.

Just because somebody on the Internet tells you to do something, does not mean you should...

Post of the week.

Even if by chance you happened to hook a 9 volt battery directly to the antenna jack, it should not do any damage....... AC voltage , well that's different story.

If it does damage it, then the engineer of the circuit needs to be fired, he left out a part or parts.. likely a capacitor!!

And NO way a Tee'ing 2 or 32 scanners together did any damage!

The tech you (supposedly) talked too, is not a tech or you didn't actually call.

Post a picture or it didn't happen, or in your case audio recording! LOL

Gents, the OP is on a timeout.

If you wish to discuss the merits of connecting two scanners together with a BNC Tee connector, have at it.

All other conjecture or conspiracy theories are off-topic.

Thanks.

I first off would like to apologize personally to you Paul. You have always been a great product spokesman/engineer. I am hoping all is well with you.

2nd I would also like to apologize to radioreference members and the admin whom I offended.
I want to thank those whom have been helpful.. And no scanner is burnt out.. I find however when the Tee is connected antenna to female Tee male T to BCD996p2 and coax from other female to sds100 it seems the p2 does take all reception priority.

I dont think Jon can see my post but I also am sorry to you.
Thanks again everyone and with deep heartfelt feeling I have felt so guilty over the past week that I have learned my lesson and want to thank Mike for banning me as I did say some aweful things. Im not a Uniden Hater.. In fact you can see on the registered scanners page 1st production ending 090 I have a few uniden products... And those are only the last 4 or 5 models... Anyhow my main reason was to apologize to everyone and that "Jon Nor the BNC Tee burnt anything out"

Who wants to bet the OP had his scanner on one side of the T and a TX on the other side of the T

As the OP please reread original post. 2 scanners sds100 and bcd996p2 and also read 3 posts up... Nothing is burnt out. Nowhere does it mention me using a TRANSCEIVER in ANY of my RR posts.. Also please stop dramafying. and as instructed to ignore people of ignorance enjoy that list.

For future reference read the post before accusing what you do not know. Have a good time on ignore..

I think we can close this now.

I appreciate the OP returning, explaining the situation and apologizing.
