Hi, I am going on a boat ride on the spirit of dubuque next month and i was wondering what the most commonly used marine frequencies are in that area.

Just go the RR WIKI, click on VHF marine if that's the channels you are referring to & enter the entire bandplan into your scanner this way you wont miss anything.
