Just so the Chicago locals know .... I posted this last thursday in the Indiana forum. 63 views but no answers. So I am going out on a limb here asking the Chicago locals the same question. I know some of you may just work at US Steel. Please don't scream back at me and tell me that my post doesn't belong in this forum... Thanks
I am in and out of US Steel Gary, In., East Chicago and Portage. I found the freqs. in the database for security but they don't seem to be the right ones or just not in use anymore. I have asked a few of the security staff if they could tell me what freq. they are running and wouldn't you know it I just get a blank look back. They have no clue! One of them did tell me they have a new system which is digital by way of a repeater and was telling me how crappie it was with trying to transmit from inside a basement. But he didn't know the freq. they were on. So I am asking if anyone may know the freqs. for the in house security at US Steel.
