Had a fatal accident in Gallia County on US35 near the State Rte 850 interchange. There was utility work underway. The Highway Patrol was directing traffic. There were NUMEROUS signs telling drivers to WATCH FOR STOPPED TRAFFIC. The crash occured when a tractor trailer failed to slow down for the stopped traffic. He rear ended another semi knocking it into a third. A fire ensued. The driver of the truck that "didn't slow down" was killed....The highway Patrol used their new MARCS radio syatem during the accident. US35 was closed from 9:38AM this morning until about 10:15PM...Steve
