USB Charging cable compatible with BC246T

I recently picked up an old favorite, a BC246T, off Ebay in pristine condition. I had one many years ago but made the mistake of selling it.

I want to be able to use it mobile while powering it via USB in my vehicle, either overall or just for charging purposes.

I've scoured the internet - I'm hoping my mind is starting to slip but I've found literally ONE reference to a USB power cord, and unfortunately the seller is out of stock and has no idea if he will ever get them back in... Anyone have any sources they could point me to? It's getting a shocking long battery life with modern rechargable batteries in it, way longer than the ones that my first ever got, it would be a shame to have to continuously drag it indoors to charge!

I checked both websites - didn't see anything obvious other than the USB1 cable, but that's for programming not for powering the radio.

I've emailed both site's customer service to see if they have anything that would work. We shall see if I get any responses!

The scanner specs call for 6vdc input for AC adapter. USB is only 5vdc.

it only uses 2 cells...
i have the 325, it also uses 2 cells and i keep 2 extras with me when out.
