This link specifically addresses the 2303HXA (HX. Rev A) models that were faked, as a statement from the manufacturer, but i'm hard-pressed to believe that there were other revisions involved in it. The 2303 line is very widespread.

Your Pro651 is the same as the Whistler WS1040. This cable will definitely work with Win10.

ok. i got this cable, followed the instructions, and it worked beautifully for two days until i got the windows update... since then i cannot get it working again. - it just says unrecognized device in devmgmt. why does this have to be so complicated!? how do i get this back up and running?

You may have to uninstall the driver reboot and reinstall or update the USB Driver
