USB for 246t and 396T

This usb step up to 6v seems to work okay as a usb power source for a 246t I picked up, hope it works for the 396t when it comes back from uniden refurb. Seems like a good alternative to the cigarette adapter that is out of stock.

So far so good with the 246t and a 12v battery source, 396t is still at uniden getting refurbished....

Got the 396t back today, seems to work fine with USB as does the 246t.

The 396t got a new selector knob and rubber port cover, but not a new rubber protector for the body, oh well, can't expect too much.
