.USC file

A helpful member was helping me set up my new 996 and He made up .USD files for my area and sent them to Me. I believe I have the .USD files figured out and entered but He also included a .USC file. What am I supposed to do with the .USC file? I'm using bcTool to program the scanner.

I don't use the UASD, but I seem to recall the .usc files are configuration-related; you use the .usd files to import into Bctool. You should be able to get almost everything you need from that....73 Mike

Mike is correct.
Indeed when helpful folks are sending individual .usd files they should not include a .usc file at all, but rather instruct the recipient not to forget to open their own configuration and add the system file in (for those using UASD.)
