I have recently become a big fan of the Quansheng UV-K6 as a low cost, wideband receiver.

Has anybody else consider this and had any good / bad experiences with them?

Sheesh. A foreign word, a product code that has "UV-xx" and then a product description like this gem...

Let see, I can use it for a cross band intercom, for some devices as a frequency meter, i can replicate wireless radios, it has a Jacklight, FM Rdio, it works in my Beauty Salon and it has "Frog Sound Tail Signal"?! Who needs Cop Sounds™ or Fire Sounds™ when I can have Frog Sound Tail Signal!

I read your honest reviews on your blog, but I think I'll pass.

Dude, it says I can use it indoors. I’m not allowed to use my Boofwang indoors! Time to step up my slumber parties with the boys!

A frog croak would definitely be an improvement on those MDC1200 chirps all the time :ROFLMAO:
