Use earbuds & conceal your scanner in your pocket. Use a low profile antenna like a comet miracle baby (comes in SMA or BNC) so it isn't protruding out of your pocket & you'll be fine

Didn't we just have this discussion, but with regard to casinos? Yeah, private property. It's not impossible to detect a rogue scanner or other electronic device that's turned on. They can kick you out for whatever reason they want and bar you from the premises if you make a spectacle out of it. If you choose to "fight them", then they'll just have you trespassed and you can explain your woes to the po-po.
