Is there a map that breaks down which channels cover what areas? I am specifically looking for Fire/EMS channels of Odenton. I have the whole list currently in the scanner but really only interested in the local things
You would want to program in the Anne Arundel County trunked radio system. The fire/EMS talk groups are only countywide and you would want to listen to the AACo PD Western District. The MD First System carries the MD State Police Glen Burnie/Annapolis Barracks talk groups. That's about as local as you can get in Odenton.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department operates mostly on the county's 800 SmartZone TRS in analog mode, and simulcasts initial dispatch on VHF. The individual VFCs and county owned stations do not have their own channels / tgs. Station 28 is first due the Odenton area, regularly supported by Station 45 at Fort Meade. EMS is integrated into the fire department thus uses the same tgs. OTA hospital comms utilize the MED channels accessed through the TRS or directly on UHF. Odenton area incidents are typically assigned to North local or box tgs.
