I have not heard any activity on the USFS Chattahoochee NF frequency of 168.775/ PL 136.5 for quite a while. Anyone in N GA monitor the NF? Have they gone P-25? Changed frequencies?
TIA,
Larry

I have 168.775 in my Kenwood HAM mobile's scanner feature and copy daily weather reports from USFS in the Blairsville area. Today's came across around 1:30 p.m.
I don't have any PL programmed into it so can't advise if they were broadcasting any tone.
I'll have to add those others that were posted and try them as well.

I will listen throughout the day to see what I hear. So far, nothing in the past 30 minutes. I doubt they went P-25, but a neighbor is an assistant manager, so I will ask him. The report above is probably a sign they are still normal.

That post about the fire was from me a while ago, that was back in May I believe.
