Testing on the STF

Heard the radio techs testing on Region 5 Law P25 (in the clear) this morning from Duckwall and Mt. Lewis repeaters on the STF. Sounds like there were some issues and one tech noted that the coverage was quite reduced from the NFM mode.

MNF sounds like they have two inputs, Tone 11 and 12. I know one of them is St. John Mtn, which can be heard in the valley from Stockton to Redding and easily up into 50 and 80 across the valley. The other tone I can hear from Red Bluff, which surprised me at first, since they'd need west-side coverage, and I don't normally hear west-side repeaters. However I know I can hear Sanhedrin (aka Big Signal Peak) since the terrain is aligned juuuuust right, and that is a major west-side site for them, as well as covers Lake Pillsbury. I'll keep listening to narrow it down.

No P25 traffic heard so far. The mystery fed freqs in Tehama that some have thought could be an LE net for LNF have had zero hits on them for months.

The LE frequency has become very quiet lately. I have not heard any traffic on it for quite some time now.
I don't even hear the MNF LE officer who was a frequent user, on there anymore. They just seem to be using either the dispatch or admin frequencies. Anyone else hearing anything?
