BC346XT: Using BC346XT with DSD on EDACS system

I would like scan a mixed analog/digital EDACS system with a BC346XT and decode the digital calls with DSD. Can I get the scanner to stop and output the audio on digital calls?

Is what I want to do possible? I notice that once in a while, the scanner does open the squelch on a digital call, but I can't figure out why it does so on those few, but doesn't on the majority of them.
