I bought a pro-2053 with no antenna. I placed a telescopic antenna from a Midland 5 watt walkie talkie in it. I just had to enlarge the hole in the case. I also connected a 3 band j-pole antenna that I made and connected it to the rear bnc.
Will the radio receive using both antennas or will one cancel out the other. Or will it only receive from the telescopic?
I receive the local pd on telescopic but no improvement when connecting the outside aerial.
My J-pole has a 19 inch center with a 3.5 inch and a 6 inch connected to it.
I appreciate any insight on this.
