BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Using GPS with BCD436HP

I am planning a long drive vacation to Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Moab, UT. I have the gps connected to my BCD436 and it appears to be receiving properly. But is keeps stopping on Custom 1-10 lists. How do you block or avoid custom list?

Function -> ZIP, scroll to the custom lists and turn them off. While you are there, you might want to disable federal, cb, and other secondary service types, or you will be hitting avoid a LOT on your trip.
