Just toying with idea of getting a SDS and GPS. Never used a GPS with a scanner before. With that said, is it fairly simple to set it up or a PITA going through allot of menus to set it up? Am still hesitant buying a SDS100 with all the issues it has. Have a long trip coming up and trying to decide on using my R30 and doing a custom search or buying a SDS100. Could put my SDS200 in my truck but really don’t want to. Thanks.

The SDS200 is just too bulky to put in my truck. Don’t want to put it on the dash. I can put the SDS100 in a cup holder (or my R30) and not be in the way. I’ll take another look in my truck and see if there is a way for the SDS200 to fit. Thanks for the replies folks.

Wasn't suggesting you get an sds200 instead of a 100, but since the 2 sds radios work alike, what I do with my 200 is exactly what you would do with a 100.
