Trying to find someone that has used Pro96Com with the 500. My area will be changing to P25 next week and I'm trying to get familiar with using Pro96Com in order to help out with obtaining new talkgroups etc. Was wondering if you can enter the control channel frequencies thru Win500 or do they have to be entered manually? If someone could walk me thru the set up I would be appreciative.

Thanks

First, enable the CC Dump feature on the settings menu.

You can create a new TSYS object, set it as P25, load the control channels, and when active, use Analyze on the active CC.

Or use the Tune button. Enter the active CC frequency. Sit back and watch the data roll in.

If you already know the control channels set up a system, input the control channels into the frequencies and create a wildcard talkgroup. Then monitor the talkgroup and it should pick up all the active talkgroups on the system.

Thanks for all the info. It's been awhile since I've had to edit anything on the scanner and when I do I use Win500 to do it.

Thanks
