I have a question on properly using profiles in the SDS100. Consider profile_a with 15 favorites that is open in Sentinel. From Sentinel I click File>New and make profile_b. Of course the same favorites are in profile_b, but with profile_b active in Sentinel, the Monitor and Download options come in as off for a new profile. I then turn on Moniotor and Download for the first four favorites with the others left off. Then save the changes to profile_b. Next I write to scanner, and from the scanner Menu function > Set Scan Selection > Select Lists to Monitor, all the favorites are on. Now, if when I write probile_b to the scanner, and choose Erase Favorites on Scanner, then only the first four show up. I thought that turning the others off (Monitor off) in Sentinel before writing to scanner, they would have come in being off, which would have been fine. Thanks in advance for any help.

The favorites lists are shared between all off the profiles. If you have several scanners that you want to program differently, you can set up a profile for each one of them specifying the favorites lists you want to scan. You can also have several selections of favorites lists for the same scanner or different selections of service types or opening screens or any other items available in the profiles.
