using win500 remote client

Hey everyone,
I finally got my psr500 and i am trying to figure out the remote client that win500 has. I figured out how to get it to scan on the computer but when i go downstairs to my desktop and put in my ip address and the port its open on it comes up with an error of an unknown port or address.

if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

If you're able to run the "remote client" app on the same machine as the Win500 server, but cannot connect to that server from another machine on the same network (LAN), then it sounds like either a) the IP address/port info specified in the remote client on the remote machine are not correct or b) the machine where the Win500 server is running has a firewall installed and blocking connections.
