I came across these handbooks today and wanted to share. I could not find a reference to them on the forums. A lot of what I have read so far has been covered under some of the licensing learning materials and provides pretty good reinforcement of those materials.

I find them very educational however and fascinating from a military standpoint. Still working my way through them…

The ARRL antenna book, 24th edition is about all an antenna engineer would need for reference.

Be careful where you download NEETS from. There are also some old versions around on different web sites. Last time I looked for it was years ago and COMPATT had the latest versions at the time.

Maybe so, but basic theory has not really changed.....digital tech is the only thing I see that changed over the years.
I don't need to work on shipboard wiring, so some of that is not needed. I do like the "why" things work part.

I found digital tech (I knew nothing about before) was new to me, when I took the GROL test back in the 90's.
That was a tough test for me.....but I learned so much doing it.

While I was going through ET 'A' school, in the Navy, I had to laugh at the fuse section. Nobody, including the Navy, used the that nomenclature on fuses.
