By Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Kathryn E. Macdonald,
USS Constitution Public Affairs

CHARLESTOWN, Mass.—The crew of USS Constitution will get the ship underway Aug. 24 for the second week of their annual Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Heritage Weeks training.

The ship will get underway after 8 a.m., following morning colors, and will be tugged into Boston Harbor. Next, Constitution’s crew and 132 CPO selectees will set three sails from Constitution’s main, mizzen and fore masts. The ship will not detach from her tugs during this underway and will not sail under her own power.

Think I'm going to try for better ones in the morning. Most likely won't have any crowd out on Castle Island tomorrow morning, unlike the billions of people there last Sunday.
