I have been able to confirm that the Veterans Administration around southern Alabama and Mississippi are on 163.3625, 164.9625 and 172.6875 P25 "in the clear" with a NAC293. All frequencies listed are repeater outputs and are tied together on one network.

I have heard enough to confirm the VA in West Palm Beach, FL is on 408.0000 R NAC-2E0. Why 2E0? I do not know, but I heard it many times and the NAC search was the same every time.

Chris P,

Can you update your blog?

It appears to me that 408.0000 is not a conventional freq but rather one freq within a motorola UHF digital trunking system. Other frequencies associated are 407.8375; 408.2375; 409.4375. Each of these freqs have been used as the control channel at one time or another. The signal is not strong enough to my location (Boynton Beach) for me to figure out the correct trunking table, therefore I'm unsure whether there are other freqs associated with this system. In monitoring these freqs in the conventional P25 mode the NAC is 2E0 and does appear to be the VA Hospital in West Palm Beach. Perhaps someone closer can figure out the trunking tables. The Site ID is BE2Eh. Thanks!
